Loft Club

This converted Royal Artillery hall became four modern apartments in St. Thomas, Exeter. An early 1900s building, The Loft Club, once hosted artillery regiments across from the Old County Ground site. Our client purchased the derelict building and bought it back to life as four apartments.

Our role was to complete the installation of 4 new electrical systems, with a brief which looked towards a modern and bright interior. Whilst working within the bounds and features of the original building, we constructed lighting specifically for the final occupants. We used LED downlights, and thoughtfully positioned sockets, switches and appliances to the praise of the client.

Friernhay Street

This mid-1800s Grade 2 Listed townhouse was restored with care. A listed building means that care must be taken around original features to ensure the building maintains a similar aesthetic. As we pride ourselves on leaving our customers’ homes exactly as we found them, this was not a difficult task for us, though it did require a great deal of care.

With the client deciding a complete electric overhaul was needed, we stepped in to install a new system with integrated Bluetooth speakers in the bathroom. With careful planning and discussion with the client, we achieved exactly what they were looking for; honouring the history of the building whilst providing a modern, homely environment.

Huxham Wood

We catapulted this 1960s bungalow into the future.

Much of the home is formed of an extension, built on top of the original 1960s bungalow. Now with nine bedrooms and ten bathrooms, the project has grown to huge proportions and kept us busy for more than a few weeks!

We looked to keep the homely feeling of this property, whilst also emphasising a fresh and modern side, as well as industrial features. With LED lighting, satellite television, integrated multi-room speaker systems, data and internet points, a hot tub, and a complex heating control system, this bungalow arrived in style in the 21st Century.
