All electrical work should be conducted by a qualified electrician. Without the right skills and certification, a cowboy tradesperson could put you and your family at significant risk.
At Electricc, we are proud members of the NICEIC, Trustmark, the Electrical Safety Register and the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme. We have these qualifications to ensure our skills are top-notch and safe, as well as to give you peace of mind.
This ensures competency to the highest standard, and it isn’t a one-time certificate. We are assessed on a regular basis to ensure our skills remain strong, as well as our knowledge of safety, codes of practice and rules. NICEIC membership allows for self-certification of our work – which means no local authorities trudging through your home.
A government-endorsed scheme for trusted tradespeople, Trustmark is focussed on good trading practices, customer service and technical competence. It’s all in the name – we are a trustworthy company at heart.
This register lists all reputable contractors in the country, including details of what work is allowed to be completed. Electricc is fully qualified to complete all work, including residential and commercial.
A health and safety scheme, we don’t see this as boring or overbearing. The standards are key to our care for customers and our own qualified electricians, so we each have an ECS card showing that we have passed the exam and are competent in health and safety procedures.
We each hold NVQ Level 3, and have served three years as an apprentice to earn City and Guilds qualifications. It offers us resources and training which are vital for keeping our electrical technicians up to speed on the latest fittings, designs and safety regulations.
